"better", by that we mean "brighter", means that
the method you choose, and the way that you go
about choosing it, is going to be very subjective
and dependent on your personal circumstances.
Obviously, if you are in a hurry to have brighter teeth, say a wedding, or the like, you may opt for the faster more expensive method. Of course, if spending up to $2000 for the teeth whitening process is not a worry then this option is valid too.
Not even the professional journals are willing to make bold statements about the relative merits of the various professional dentist teeth whitening methods. Leaving us back where we started.
Our best advice is to pick a person that you feel comfortable with. The obvious place to start if you think that having a dentist do the procedure is the best way is to ask the dentist you see on a regular basis. Talk to others if you don't feel comfortable with your dentist's answers.
